More Playtime

Andy came over today and we all had some playtime with the kids. Rile' is talking up a storm and Hunter is getting so big! He's 5 1/2 months old already!

Finally!

Finally, a day of snow that actually is worth posting! All our other "dustings" have just teased us. We've had prettier days of snow, but we'll take it! So far, we have about three inches. Not bad for a day that we weren't suppose to get anything here! I talked with Lamar in Hillsboro where he works. There's nothing left there. How about all of you out there. What's your day been like, snow-wise?




Annie doesn't "appreciate" the snow very much. She's such a weenie! She's on her way back inside where it's nice and warm. She couldn't get in fast enough.

Yipee!

Rile' and Hunter were over yesterday. I'm thinking they had fun. What do you think?

Seaside In January

This was the second weekend in a row that we went to Seaside. This weekend was so clear, but so cold! There was even ice in the water going across the shallow part of the bridge that crosses from Astoria to Warrenton! That's cold! The sunsets were amazingly beautiful. We had a great time with friends, David and Joyce Pereira and the Thurston family. Lamar and I have plans on going back in February. Can't wait!

A New Driver In The House!

After waiting to get her permit and then having it for almost a year, Brittany got her license this morning! I'm not sure who was more nervous, her or me as the lady at the DMV called out her number. Yes, I felt this way with Andy too. The wait for her to drive back into the parking lot was extremely long...well, at least it seemed like it! In reality, it was only about 15 minutes at the most. When she walked in the door with a smile as big as...well, it was big!...,then I knew she had passed another milestone in her life of 17 years. AND, she got 100%! So far today, she has taken the truck out three times. This last one was for an errand for me. YES!!!

Sometimes Hunter will do something or look a certain way and I think, "Man, he really looks a lot like Rile' did at that age." So, I had to go back to the old archives. Yup, I was right!

Fun With The Grandkids

Yay! Another day with our grandkids. It's always a pleasure to have them around!
