This is how the morning started...Vanessa takes the baby to mom's (for her first day of babysitting). It's very windy out. Parks in the driveway, takes Rile' in, waits a few minutes, goes back outside to find the portable basketball hoop through the back window of Andy's car! Wait...there's more!

Now, as you can see, this was where Rile' was sitting only a few minutes earlier...and also where Vanessa got Rile' out of the carseat. So they could have both gotten hurt. The hoop was sitting in her seat. Glass everywhere. I say God was protecting them both! What do you think? Oh, did I mention that there was absolutely NO other damage to the car?....just went straight through the window. God is good!

One of the reasons why we love living out in this Oregon countryside. Tonight's sunset was absolutely beautiful. This is something we have missed seeing this rainy season! 

This coming week marks the start of taking care of Rile' on a regular basis (two days a week) as Vanessa starts Hair Design School. "Looking forward to it" is an understatement!
