Sunday afternoon, Lamar and I took a nice, long walk before we had to head back to our church activities. Right before reaching our house, one of our neighbors let us know that we had a visitor. We looked up in one of the large fir trees and sure enough, a bald eagle had landed. He stayed well past an hour to our delight.
What is it about seeing a bald eagle? Although we have seen many bald eagles flying overhead, this was the first time we had actually seen one perched in a nearby tree. We felt like we had been given a special gift for the day!
Oh wow! Definitely a gift. They are such beautiful majestic birds. I'm so glad you were able to get a picture of him and share it with us!
