Deer-y Me!

Of course, as soon as I tell people that we don't see the deer bothering anything in the daytime, we get proven wrong. Our poor little apple tree was just too tempting to wait until dark for this little one. She almost made it too! It's just on the other side of our washline. We were in the middle of cutting another small flower bed when Lamar spotted her. Oh, did I mention that our Golden Retriever, Annie, was about 30 feet away...wide awake too! So much for OUR deer-chaser!
