Today, Lamar and friend and Pastor, Winslow, took me and Donna on a day trip. We didn't know where we were going. We ended up going down Hwy. 30 towards the beach, turned right at Wesport and took the ferry across the Columbia River to Puget Island, Washington. Went through the quaint town of Cathlamet and ended up at the park right on the river. It was beautiful!! The guys had prepared a wonderful picnic lunch for us too. We didn't have to do anything. Nice!
The driftwood along this Columbia River Beach was spectacular!
The weather was perfect...blue skies, not too hot, with a nice breeze! Ahhhh!! Who could ask for anything more?!
